Vivien is an experienced children’s physiotherapist who trained at West Middlesex Hospital, London, qualifying in 1977.
She first worked in Bristol at Frenchay Hospital and then Bristol Children’s Hospital, where she achieved a senior position as deputy superintendent, before relocating to Guildford.
Post graduate training and special interests include:
- Cerebral Palsy and related developmental conditions (Bobath trained)
- Hydrotherapy (Halliwick and Foundation Hydrotherapy courses)
- Congenital orthopaedic conditions eg torticollis, talipes
Membership of British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists(BABTT), Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists(APCP), Hydrotherapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (HACP), and ongoing training ensures continued updating of skills.
Vivien also continues to work part-time in children’s services for the NHS
